Greetings
Here is Part 2 of the Traits of a Good Role Model.
Be Determined- You must exhibit a tireless pursuit of your goals, purpose, or cause. Only when you are crystal clear to the point that you will do whatever it takes to get something you want does determination kick in to assist you. Determination is the ability to see the light at the end of the tunnel and continue forward when the challenges of life get in your way. Think of setbacks and failures as only stumbling blocks, character building experiences, and opportunities for growth. There is real magic in being clear with your intentions and being determined to achieve your goals.
Have Belief- Always trust in yourself, others, and your Creator to provide you with support and guidance when needed. When you expect miracles and great things, and you LOOK for great things then you set yourself up for great things to happen. You must believe in yourself, your talents, your work ethic, and your ability to deal with any challenge.
Be Calm- Be an actor and not a reactor to life. Make a daily choice to maintain your serenity and balance in response to any difficulty, challenge or crisis that is going on. Take the time to stop for a minute and ask yourself: What is the best action for me to take this moment to be in integrity with my goals and long range plans? When you calm your mind and don’t take life or people personally, you are able to make good decisions.
BE Courageous- When you face your fears, you will see how hollow most of them are. FEAR stands for Fantasized Experiences Appearing Real. Now is the time for you to take intelligent risks and overcome your fears to move to the next platform of success in your life. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to go forward even when you feel the fear!
BE Enthusiastic- Remember this: Information doesn’t move people but emotion does! Everyone is in sales in some way, and you must seed your mind and life every day with information that keeps your levels of positive energy, passion, and personal motivation consistently high to be a winner. Having enthusiasm gives you charisma, and everyone wants to be around people who bring positive energy to situations.
Have Integrity- You must have a personal commitment to honesty, openness, and fairness, always living by and for your consistent ethical standards if you wish to truly be a success in life. Choose to be a leader and be a role model of good character. Our world is in great need of people who stand up and have integrity.
