Take Charge of Your Life, Post 4
Today on Take charge of your Life, Part 4, I want to go over another item that I feel will make a big difference between being a success or a failure.
I was reading something awhile back that said the average American watched a little over 6 hours of television a day. I was in shock, I couldn’t believe anyone could watch that much television. I said thank goodness I don’t do something like that however yesterday I watched over 8 hours of college football games so my bad.
I have decided I will not do that anymore maybe one game but not 3 or 4, because all it does is put me in a mental fog and I really don’t get anything done. There are so many other things I want to do rather than watch a football game, and all I or anyone else has is time. So for now on I am going to start guarding my time.
One thing I failed to mention before on my blog is that I read a minimum of 1 hour a day. I am firmly convinced if we all read an hour a day within a year we could become an expert on whatever we wanted to do and we would know more than 90% of the people in our field. When I am talking about reading for that hour, its about what we are doing, of course if you want to read a novel that’s great however that doesn’t count for your hour.
Like every other suggestion I have made try it for 90 days and see how it has worked for you.
